The External Video option in iSocial allows you to add videos from an external source. You can now add videos via Youtube, Dailymotion, Google, Metacafe, Myspace and Blip in Profile, Wall to Wall, Groups, Events and Classifieds. Apart from adding regular links in Post a link feature seen in Profile, Wall to Wall,Groups and Events, you can add a video link using External Video and view the video.

You can now give a new look to your profile in iSocial thereby make your friends and visitors keep gazing at your profile. Select any one of the themes from a range of preset themes designed by admin as your profile theme. You also have options to design your own profile theme by adding css codes and change the colors of various blocks in your profile page thereby giving a treat to your eyes.

In this module, the process of encoding is distributed to another server, thereby saving the memory and CPU time of the web server. The process involved in uploading videos is distributed among three servers

* Web server
* Media server (Optional)
* Processing server.

Web server: This is the server where the iSoical script resides, and handles the functioning of the site. During upload, this will move uploaded files to the media server.

Media server: When a large number of videos need to be stored, they can be stored in a separate server. This is optional, and in the absence of a separate media server, files can be stored in the web server.

Processing server: Gets the videos from the media server, encodes them and uploads them to the same server.
